With the Green Garage, Climate KIC based at EUREF-Campus provides Germany’s largest cleantech accelerator, one of 5 sites in the DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) region. Twice every year new start-ups with promising business models and high CO2 reduction potential are accepted into the three-level programme and supported with up to EUR 95,000 in total (in the form of grants, services, office space, business coaching, mentoring, consulting and much more) for a maximum of 18 months. Climate KIC supports the start-ups with the objective of making them fit for the market fast. The multilevel support programme accompanies young enterprises in the initial phases of starting up, helping them to develop a solid cleantech business model, open up markets for the products and set a growth course.
