Innovation meets taste!

Since 21 May 2021, the new restaurant “the CORD” has opened its outdoor gastronomy on the future location EUREF Campus. The lifestyle restaurant follows a fine dining concept based on “sharing” the main courses and sides. The “Cord 810/812” from 1937, exhibit and namesake of the new restaurant, was the first streamlined vehicle and thus the most advanced automobile of its time. Almost 100 years ago, this innovation demonstrated absolute pioneering spirit, as the streamlined body and aircraft engine ensured less fuel and energy consumption. On the EUREF campus, too, new mobility concepts are being researched and tested that will have a sustainable impact on the city of tomorrow.

All ingredients are chosen and processed with great quality standards, with a focus on regionality and seasonality. Meat and fish come exclusively from sustainable, fair and species-appropriate animal husbandry from partners Otto Gourmet and Irish Beef Club. In addition to seafood such as oysters, giant prawns or the classic Loup de Mer, there is a large selection of meat specialities. This includes Wagyu rib eye as well as US-American or Irish beef fillet.
