Sustainability

EUREF is short for “European Energy Forum” and pursues the idea of a showcase quarter for the climate-neutral, resource-saving and intelligent city of tomorrow. We have the clear goal of being a place of the future with energy and mobility concepts for tomorrow.

We always work with both colleagues and partners who share our vision and values. We are aware of our responsibility for our locations, benefit from them and are committed to a close dialog with the local key players and networks, in an effort to ensure that our actions always contribute to the success of the local business and science locations. At all times, we are mindful of the need to conserve resources in all areas; this applies to people as well as to working hours, materials and energy.

For us, sustainability is not a trend. Sustainability is part of our DNA.

EUREF-Event GmbH and thus all event locations on the EUREF-Campus Berlin have been certified as Sustainable Meetings Partner Berlin and awarded the title of “High Performer”. The online platform “Sustainable Meetings Berlin” was developed by visitBerlin to facilitate the planning of sustainable meetings, congresses and events.

Our key focus areas of climate protection and sustainability are not subject to any personal or cultural differences. We therefore value diversity and enable inclusion. Inclusion

We ensure that our office and event spaces are barrier-free and are always aware of the challenges faced by people with disabilities. In addition to an inclusion officer, we maintain a close exchange with the disability officers of the tenants of the most important anchor spaces on the EUREF-Campus. Regular dialog provides valuable input on how the EUREF-Campus as a whole can be made even more barrier-free for event guests as well.
