EUREF-Campus has been meeting the CO2 climate targets for the year 2045
EUREF-Campus in Berlin-Schöneberg is a place of the future. This is where more than 5,000 people work, research and study in more than 150 enterprises, institutions and start-ups in the areas of energy, mobility and sustainability – collaboratively, openly and jointly.
Since the project started in 2008, the approximately 5.5 hectare city district, which has been meeting the Federal Government’s climate targets for 2045 since 2014, has evolved into a real-world laboratory for the shift to renewable energy and is one of a kind in Europe.
Our Community Makes Us One of a Kind
Reinhard Müller had a marvellous idea for a campus for innovative energy technologies and training young people. I am accompanying this development with great enthusiasm. After 10 years of work setting it up and overcoming hurdles, the vision of EUREF has been implemented and enjoys huge renown countrywide and internationally. Congratulations!
of GASAG AG
Ten years of EUREF Energy-Campus – ten years of proof that scientific creativity and an entrepreneurial flair for new technologies and markets as well as social responsibility and obligations of political structure must be consolidated. The activities at EUREF-Campus have made the vision of a new world of energy more and more conceivable as an actual reality. Congratulations on this success!

Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety
It is my conviction that access to safe and sustainable energy is a basic human right. And at the same time we all know that the way we use energy today is not sustainable. EUREF-Campus proves that a solution to the energy paradox is possible today.

Thanks to EUREF-Campus, the Future Mobility Summit got a boost of energy and excellent marks from participants. We look forward to coming back.

EUREF-Campus impressively shows that innovative technological energy solutions are possible in a complex energy economy. What it takes is the idea, the expertise and the will to design and implement. As the GASAG Group, we support the path to decarbonization and are proud to be a major partner.

Here we depend on Berlin as a research and science hub. For us as researchers and scientists, the campus character of EUREF is important: we appreciate the innovative network and the interdisciplinary concentration of science, research and hands-on practice.

Sustainability and climate protection are at the top of the agenda at TU Berlin. On the EUREF campus, innovative teaching and research combined with adequate entrepreneurship focus on these very topics. In recent years, the campus has become a true educational catalyst for the energy and mobility transition. Our students benefit from the practical orientation, the direct dialog with business and politics and, of course, the appeal of the TU-Campus EUREF.
