Hubject GmbH was founded in 2012 by leading companies from the energy, technology and automotive sectors. The BMW Group, Bosch, Daimler, EnBW, innogy, Siemens and the Volkswagen Group are shareholders of Hubject GmbH. With its eRoaming platform, Hubject connects charging station operators and electricity providers in real time in order to offer electric car drivers simple, customer-friendly access to charging infrastructure. Hubject itself operates no charging stations, but instead enables a seamless exchange of data in the background via the intercharge network. More than 280 companies worldwide use the platform, including manufacturers of electric vehicles, energy suppliers, mobility service providers and telecommunication companies.
