EUREF-Campus 1-2
NBB Netzgesellschaft and dena (the German Energy Agency) are tenants of the new building and important partners in connection with the topic of energy transition on the EUREF campus. A bakery with its own bakehouse will be set up on the first floor of the building. It provides for quality on-site supply of the campus and is an enrichment for the neighborhood.
The building will be constructed according to the highest energy standard KfW 55. A photovoltaic system will be installed on the roof. The windows have particularly efficient triple glazing and integrated, automated solar shading. The windows can be opened to increase comfort for the users. The heating and cooling supply is CO2-neutral and particularly energy-efficient via the campus-wide micro smart grid. The ventilation system functions with heat recovery, and a concrete core temperature control system ensures that the rooms are climate-controlled without drafts at low supply temperatures.
