Deutsche Bahn Digital Ventures GmbH

In November 2016 the venture capital arm of Deutsche Bahn, Deutsche Bahn Digital Ventures GmbH (DBDV), was founded. The team invests in start-ups with digital business ideas in the areas of mobility, logistics and infrastructure. The funding is to go primarily to early-stage enterprises which develop technologies in the fields of smart mobility, smart logistics, smart city, big data and the Internet of Things – thus digitally extending Deutsche Bahn’s service portfolio.
