EUREF-Campus has been meeting the 2045 CO2 climate targets for thermal energy supply

The EUREF-Campus in Berlin-Schöneberg is an innovation and technology hub focusing on energy, mobility, and sustainability. This is where 7,000 people work, conduct research, and study across more than 150 enterprises, institutions and start-ups – collaboratively, openly and jointly. Since the project started in 2008, the approximately 5.5-hectare urban district has evolved into an internationally recognized living lab for the energy transition.

Every year, more than 70,000 people visit the EUREF-Campus to learn about solutions in the fields of energy, mobility, and sustainability. In terms of thermal energy supply, the EUREF-Campus Berlin has already been meeting the German Federal Government’s CO₂ climate targets for 2045 since 2014.

Our Community Makes Us One of a Kind

Reinhard Müller had a marvellous idea for a campus for innovative energy technologies and training young people. I am accompanying this development with great enthusiasm. After 10 years of work setting it up and overcoming hurdles, the vision of EUREF has been implemented and enjoys huge renown countrywide and internationally. Congratulations!
