About us

EUREF AG is a creative developer of energy- and eco-optimized properties with sustainable added value in Berlin and Düsseldorf. It was founded by Reinhard Müller in 2007 following the acquisition of a 5.5-hectare site surrounding the historic gasometer in Berlin-Schöneberg.

In just a decade, the site has been developed into the EUREF-Campus Berlin, the leader in Germany’s transition to renewable energy. Many companies and research institutions in the fields of energy, environmental protection, and mobility have settled here. The campus has been meeting the German government’s CO₂ climate targets for 2045 since 2014, making it a reference point for the state of Berlin’s smart city strategy.

In 2024, EUREF AG opened a second EUREF Campus in Düsseldorf, the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia, at the ICE train station Düsseldorf/Airport.
